Charissa Thompson

Thompson quit FOX Sports in 2010, and was able to double as a host for both Versus and Yahoo Sports. She was the host of Versus' NHL coverage in the studio as well as produced video content for Yahoo's traffic-driven platform. Thompson helmed the website's presence at the most prestigious sporting events such as the 2010 Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup. She was a successful host across both of these areas. This brought her to ESPN in August of 2011. In this role she was the host of the brand new evening show "Numbers Never Lie" which was a show on the network. After a transition towards "SportsNation," she enjoyed an extended period of popularity. Her departure from the network came for FS1's launch at Los Angeles, May 2013 returning in Los Angeles. Thompson is an avid athlete, and she has demonstrated the versatility necessary to be able to work in entertainment. Thompson was hired to be a co-host on"Extra," the Hollywood newspaper "Extra" during June 2014 following a string of part-time gigs.
