Meagan and Kara
Meagan Good's maternal grandmother Tyra was a teenager working at Panorama City as a manager and her father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman with the LAPD. She grew with her 3 siblings within Canyon Country California, and started her acting career at the age of four. Her acting journey began as an extra in television programs such as Doogie Howser Amen, M.D. and Doogie Howser Amen. When she was 13, she made her debut in the film Friday. First gaining attention in 1997 with her performance as Cisely batiste (a struggling teenage girl) as a troubled teenager in Eve's Bayou, for which she won two nominations and received her N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nominee. Good played small parts in the television and films of in the following years. Then, in the beginning of 2000s she started taking part in roles that were more mature. The role she played was Nina, Nickelodeon T.V.'s Cousin Skeeter. The show ran from 1998 to 2001. She has also had minor role in the film House Party, Down to the Very last Minute as well as 3 Strikes. In 2003 she portrayed Vanessa Scott, a character in My Wife and Kids. The following year, she was a part-time actress in D.E.B.S which was an action-comedy film which earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the Black Movie Awards in 2005. In the following years, she was in several films such as You've Got Yourself Served, Cookout Venom One Missed call Waist Deep, and The Love Guru. After a busy 2012 on T.V. and in films she played the role of Mya in the film series with multiple stars Think Like a Man and Ms. Stevens in Dysfunctional Friends. Kara Killmer...........................Kara Killmer is an American actress best known for portraying the character of Sylvie Brett in the NBC drama series 'Chicago Fire. Killmer originates from Texas and studied at Baylor University, Waco Texas. She received a degree from performing arts. The degree in performing arts was conferred in the year 2010. She started her acting career in 2010, when she appeared in Simon Fuller's web series,"If I Can Dream. After starring in numerous local plays Kara Killmer made her on-screen debut in 2010 in the first part of the Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream. The show was based on a group of performers who begin residing in a house in Hollywood California.
