Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and musician from England. He was one of the members of One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1, 1994, and is the child of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, along with three of his classmates, created a band group dubbed White Eskimo. They won the 2009 Battle of Bands thanks to their excellent performance. Although he has always been interested in the music world, despite his passion in it, he also wanted to be a lawyer or physical therapist. He was employed in the local bakery for a few hours to support his family financially. In the year 2010, Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. The reason for this is that his band broke up. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they would form an ensemble called One Direction after the X The X. The creation of the group took place in the year 2010 and the five members were sponsored by Simon Cowell. They performed tracks such as My Life Would Suffer Without You from Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. They were one of the contenders to win the award. The band was in the third spot behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle, who were the winners. Although Harry Styles and his group did not win Cowell signed a deal worth 2 million pounds for One Direction to sign with the Syco recording label.
